Banglar Yuva Sathi (বাংলার যুব সাথী) means “Youth Companion of Bengal.” It is a new welfare scheme launched by the Government of West Bengal for the unemployed youth of the state. Under this scheme, eligible young people who have passed Madhyamik (Class 10) and are currently without a job will receive ₹1,500 per month directly in their bank account.

Who Can Apply – Eligibility

Not everyone can apply for this scheme. You must meet all the following conditions to be eligible for Banglar Yuva Sathi:

  • You must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
  • Your age must be between 21 and 40 years as on 1st April 2026.
  • You must have passed Madhyamik (Class 10) or equivalent exam.
  • You must be currently unemployed — not working in any full-time or part-time job.
